Ehsaas Tahafuz Program Registration 2023
The Ehsaas Tahafuz program offers an online registration service as part of its Sehat Sahulat social initiative, dedicated to improving the health of the population. The Ahsaas Tahafuz project is a social protection program in Pakistan that aims to provide financial support to low-income families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. It ensures access to treatment for any medical condition for individuals who do not possess a prime minister’s sehat card.
Initially launched at Holy Family Hospital in Rawalpindi to provide financial assistance for medical treatment, this program is Pakistan’s first safety net focused on addressing the needs of those who have experienced a catastrophic event. It has now been expanded to include 14 tertiary care hospitals across Punjab, Sindh, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Islamabad. Online registration for the Ehsaas Tahafuz Program is now available in 2023.

To register, you can either contact the relevant doctors at the respective hospitals or visit the Ehsaas Tahafuz Reception within the hospital premises. Alternatively, you can register by sending your ID card number to 8500. Eligibility for the Ehsaas Tahafuz Program can be checked by sending your CNIC number to 8500. Even if you don’t possess a Tahafuz card, you are still eligible to apply and receive financial support for treatment at the relevant hospitals.
The project provides a one-time cash grant to eligible families to assist them in managing the economic hardships resulting from the pandemic. The grant amount is larger for households with more members and smaller for households with fewer members. The program primarily targets families affected by the pandemic and in need of financial aid.

To obtain an Ehsaas Tahafuz program card, you need to follow these steps: First, check your eligibility, as the program is intended for vulnerable communities, including widows, orphans, and individuals with disabilities. Then, gather the necessary documents, such as proof of identity, proof of residency, and proof of income, to complete the application process.
Application Submission: You have the option to submit your application for the Ahsaas Tahafuz Program card either online or in person at the designated Ehsaas Tahafuz Program center. It is necessary to provide the relevant information and required documents when completing your application.
Verification Process: After submission, the government will carefully review and verify your application. If it satisfies all the necessary criteria, you will receive an Ehsaas Tahafuz Program card.

These companies are tasked with handling insurance claims and providing administrative services. To ensure affordability for low-income families, the government offers subsidies to insurance companies.
